Exhibitions include UN-SCR-1325 at the Chelsea Art Museum Dreamy at the ZieherSmith Gallery in New York and Projects ‘06 at the Carriage House of the Islip Art Museum in Islip, Long Island, Flat, Square and on the Wall curated by Annette Lemieux at F.P.A.C Gallery in Boston, MA and City Guns at the Contemporary Artist’s Center in North Adams, MA. Russell has studied with South African artists Rose Shakinovsky and Claire Gavronsky, attending residencies with them in both Italy and South Africa. She has also attended residencies at Salem Art Works in upstate New York and the CAC in North Adams, MA.
